Using the Service

How It Works

Our service enables clients of Active Choices, Inc. (ACI) to participate in a community, online courses, events, and membership offerings provided through the Positive Energy Workplace Initiative®.


Who can use the PEW-i Community Platform?

You must be a sponsored organization and/or individual client in good standing with ACI in order to use this platform.

 

Registration
Once your organization and/or individual access is approved to join the PEW-i Community Platform, you will set up an account to join and participate using your organizational email address. When you set up your profile within the PEW-i Community Platform, we treat registration information according to our Privacy Policy. Your name and contact information will be made available to the ACI Team. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.

Depending on the agreement with the sponsoring organization, ACI may set up your initial account of name and email via file import.

Privacy

Our privacy practices are set forth in our Privacy Policy, which is part of this Agreement. By joining the PEW-i Community Platform, you are sharing personally identifiable information with the ACI Team. Your platform profile is self-populated and voluntarily added, so you may choose whether you would like to share personally identifiable information or remain anonymous with your fellow organization members or other ACI client members in the community.

 

Acceptable Use
Content that is shared in this community must stay in the PEW-i Community Platform. Your personal login credentials may not be shared with anyone, and you may not share content (coursework, PDFs, etc.) with anyone outside of PEW-i without express written consent from ACI (contact community@activechoices.com). 

Likewise, member posts created in PEW-i must stay in the community, and you may not take screenshots or copy any comments or interactions. We maintain confidentiality in this community, and you are welcome to complete your profile in PEW-i with as many personal details as you feel comfortable. We reserve the right to monitor any interactions created in public or private spaces in the PEW-i Community Platform. 


Electronic Communications

You consent to receive communications from us by email in accordance with this Agreement and applicable law. You acknowledge and agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically will satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Please ensure that you have added the following email addresses to your ‘safe senders’ list:

Termination

You may close your member account at any time by going to account settings and disabling your account. We may terminate your account immediately if you violate the PEW-i Community Platform guidelines and agreements to participate. If sponsorship discontinues from your organization, your member account will be deactivated based on scope of work and contract agreements with the organization. 30 days notice will be given prior to deactivation, provided the organization is in good standing with ACI. 

Accessibility

We are committed and strive to provide accessibility options and support on our platforms. The Positive Energy Community Initiative®™️ Community Platform is licensed and hosted through Mighty Networks Pro Software, and provides accessibility by using integrations available in web browsers, iOS app built-in features, and common built-in features on Android devices. Content & Permissions

As a member of the PEW-i Community Platform enjoy this material and any accompanying materials this year. Use it to your benefit, have fun with it, and understand the following:

  • The contents of the program are derived primarily from the life and professional experience of the author and faculty and are meant to generally apply to most members. They do not replace your own internal wisdom, intuition, and knowledge. You know you best.

  • The content is intended for educational purposes and may not directly apply to every member’s life situation or goals, nor is it meant to be an exhaustive treatment of the subject matter.

  • The member should seek the additional assistance of such other professionals as he/she/they see(s) fit as a supplement to any of the ideas expressed by the author, knowing each member’s action plan will necessarily differ.   • This information absolutely may NOT be resold under any other name or vendor, article submission sites, or by anyone aside from Anese Cavanaugh/Active Choices, Inc., under any circumstances, without the express prior written authorization ACI.

  • NO AI TRAINING: Without in any way limiting the author’s [and publisher’s] exclusive rights under copyright, any use of this publication to “train” generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to generate text is expressly prohibited. The author reserves all rights to license uses of this work for generative AI training and development of machine learning language models.

 

Coaching & Training Agreement

As a member of the PEW-i Community Platform, you may be participating in a variety of training, coaching services, and other curriculum focused on the IEP Method®.  

You are responsible for all of your results, your impact, everything. Your wins are yours, your “fails” are yours, you create. Your coach is not a therapist, nutritionist, financial planner, career counselor, doctor, or anything/anyone you’d abdicate your seniority or wisdom to. Use your common sense, your best intuition, and your knowledge of YOU to make decisions in your work together. You are always at choice. You are the author here. Our team, Active Choices, Inc., and your coach are not responsible for your results. Our work together is to provide reflection, training, reframes, exploration, and tools and principles to serve you in becoming a more effective, more impactful, and more fully expressed human being.

By participating in this work, you agree to own your own results and be responsible for your outcomes. You also agree that you have reviewed this form and are ready to dig in and be responsible for your results and experience. By signing below and by participating in this work, I agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. I agree to own my own results and be responsible for my outcomes;

  2. subject to general reporting requirements to the Company, I understand that all sessions are confidential unless I indicate an intent to break the law or injure myself or others;

  3. in keeping with the spirit of confidentiality, I agree not to subpoena or otherwise request notes and documents of any of my sessions, and waive any and all discovery rights as to ACI;

  4. I agree to respect all trade secrets and intellectual property and if I violate this agreement I will be immediately removed from the Program and subject to an injunction to prevent my use and spread of plagiarized or copied work;

  5. I agree to act with courtesy, civility and professionalism at all times; and

  6. I agree to waive any and all claims against ACI arising out of my participation in the Program or any disclosures made pursuant to a court order or governmental regulation.
